📍 Where You’ll Be Meeting
Meeting spot: at the bottom of the hill look for our tarp by the lifeguard stand.
Paid Parking – Torrance Beach Side ($7 price subject to change)
There’s a large county-run paid lot along Paseo de la Playa (between Calle Miramar and Via Riviera). This lot is closest to Torrance Beach proper and a short walk south along the sand/bike path to the meeting point.
Advantages:
Most direct beach access.
No steep hills.
Easy for most participants.
Disadvantage:
Parking fee applies (usually metered or pay-to-park lot).
Safety first: wear sunscreen, bring water, and consider the hill walk for those parked on the Palos Verdes side.
Normal picnic after we are done if you want to stay and hang out.
