Breath-hold is the heart of mermaiding. Start with short holds and build up slowly. Relaxation and apnea training (both static and while swimming) will improve your control and safety underwater.

2. Finning Like a Pro

Your monofin turns you into a sea creature—if you use it right. Focus on dolphin-style kicks from the hips, not the knees, and aim for smooth, balanced movement.

3. Strength & Flexibility

Core and leg strength fuel powerful kicks and posture control. Flexibility in your hips and back enhances fluidity. Incorporate planks, squats, and stretches or yoga into your routine.
