Who can join?

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certified or equivalent

Minimum age 12

Comfortable in open water

In good general health

CPR and First Aid training within the last 24 months
PADI EFR or equivalent can be completed alongside this course

How the Course Works

Learn at your own pace with PADI eLearning, then apply what you learn through hands on skill practice and realistic rescue scenarios.

You will develop
Self rescue skills
Awareness and prevention techniques
Confidence managing emergency situations
Teamwork and leadership underwater

This course focuses on problem prevention, quick thinking, and real world diver safety.

Equipment

You will use standard scuba equipment, including

Mask, snorkel and fins

Regulator

Buoyancy Control Device BCD

Tank and weights

You will need to purchase or rent your own personal gear

Mask

Fins

Snorkel

Booties and gloves scuba quality

Wetsuit

Some rescue scenarios may require additional equipment which your instructor will review in advance.

Training Sessions

Pool and Skill Practice

Practice rescue techniques in a controlled environment including

Assisting tired or panicked divers

Surface rescues

Managing unresponsive divers

Open Water Rescue Scenarios

Put everything together during realistic scenario based training at the dive sites. You will work through full rescue situations that build confidence, communication, and leadership skills.

Once completed you will earn your PADI Rescue Diver certification recognized worldwide.
